PCLT9600 is a technical sans-serif typeface. Good designers have a depository of orthodox, technical typefaces in their toolbox. Often, industrial fonts have visual hints that link them to a particular time period. A retro look isn’t always desirable, especially if you’re aiming for a contemporary or futuristic look. Not so with PCLT9600 whose sober, doctrinal design eschews retro baggage without resorting to corny techno gimmickry. If you prefer a more mechanized sensation, try PCLT4800.
